Rain not enough for all drought areas in South Africa

On a recent visit to South Africa we met growers, packers and exporters. The main topic of conversation was, of course, the drought. It is affecting growers in every part of the country, some more than others. They will get through this season all be it with smaller sizes across the board and some types of fruit suffering sunburn but it will not be a disaster. The problem will be having enough water to produce a crop next year as there is hardly a dam in the country which is near its normal level, there is still hope of some rain in coming months but in some areas it will not enough.
